Dennis Newton Electrical, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning has been in business since 1992, serving Addison County, Vermont and beyond.
Our company specializes in custom electrical and air conditioning solutions for your residential and commercial needs. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail and will work diligently to ensure you are happy with the end result.
In addition, if you are in the market for a cold-climate heat pump or automatic stand-by generator power for your home or business, we do free site visits and estimates.
Dennis Newton
Owner, Founder, Master Electrician, Refrigeration Specialist
Dennis has been a master electrician and refrigeration specialist since 1985. He continues to stay current in new electrical and refrigeration technologies by attending classes in his field every year. He is a Mitsubishi Elite Diamond Contractor and an Efficiency Excellence Network Member.
Doug Mulcahey
Electrician, Refrigeration Technician
Doug has been working for Newton Electrical since 2004. He completed his Journeyman’s license in February of 2006. Doug has attended numerous classes in refrigeration applications and refrigerant use.
Additional training includes:
- Vermont State Electrical Apprenticeship Program, 2001-2005
- Associates Degree in Electronics, DeVry Institute, 1992
Cory Newton
Electrician
Cory began work with Newton Electrical in 1999. He obtained his Journeyman’s license in May of 2006.
Additional training includes:
- Vermont State Electrical Apprenticeship Program, 2002-2006 (graduated at the top of his class)
Brad Vincent
Electrician, Generator Specialist
Brad has worked for Newton Electrical since 2004 and received his Master Electrician License in 2006. Brad received his Journeyman’s license in 2001. Brad has attended a number of classes with Kohler on installation and repair of stand-by generators.
Additional training includes:
- Wyoming Technical School, 1982
- Vermont State Electrical Apprenticeship Program, completed 2001
Kraig Lund
Electrician
Kraig joined Newton Electrical in 2017 and immediately enrolled in the Vermont State Electrical Apprenticeship program. He received his Journeyman’s License in April of 2022. Kraig has extensive experience in the plumbing and automotive sectors and is increasing his knowledge in the electrical field as well as heat pump and generator service and installations.
Nathan Gebo
Electrician
Nathan joined Dennis Newton Electrical, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning in 2021. Having previously served 4 years in the United States Marine Corps from September 2016 – September 2020 as a water support technician. Nathan was a graduate of Mt. Abraham Union High School and is enrolled in the State of Vermont Electrical Apprenticeship program.
Jolene Newton
Office Manager, Accounts, Marketing
Jolene graduated from high school in 1992 and began her working career in the hospitality industry. In 2003 she was employed as an administrative assistant at Middlebury College where she continues to work part-time. As Dennis’ wife and partner in the business, she has managed the accounts receivables/payables since 1995.
Becky Dwyer
Office Assistant
Becky started as a Receptionist/Office Assistant in August 2022. She brings with her many years of experience in an office environment to help assist you with your scheduling needs for all the services that Dennis Newton Electrical, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning provides.
